The Bible tells us that the early church met together and that "they were continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, in fellowship, in the breaking of the loaves, and in prayers." Acts 2:42. It is our calling to go back to scripture not only in our preaching but also in our doctrine, teaching, and Church practice.

Throughout Christian history we have seen weak men powerfully used by God through street evangelism. John Wesley was involved in one of the greatest revivals this earth has ever seen, and most of his ministry was done in the open air. William Booth was powerfully used by God to set up the movement "The Salvation Army". One of their mottos, "our home is in the open air". They held meetings where thousands gathered in the streets all over the world. Why? They did not entice sinners to come to church with a few lights and smoke machines, rather they went to the streets and preached Christ and Him crucified.


As a Christian witnessing should be a major part of your life. Street evangelism is a great way for you to share the faith that is within you, and see Gods hand regenerate sinners hearts, all to the glory of God.
